AWANA Club
awana

After a three month hiatus, the AWANA club program will be resuming at 6:00pm on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at our campus on Indiantown Road and Haynie Lane in Jupiter Farms. We are in a state of transition until the Sunday school and Gymnasium building is completed, hopefully six months from now.  For now AWANA will be held at the House on the church property. The games will take place on the field and we will finish with counsel time being incorporated into our regular Wednesday night service in the sanctuary. Dismissal is  promptly at 8:00pm at the east side entrance. Bus service is available. Please call the church office for details. AWANA Kids Club will be held every Wednesday night from March 24th until May 26, 2010 when we will break for summer vacation.  We look forward to seeing you there!

AWANA is a ministry to the children of the congregation as well as an outreach to kids in the surrounding neighborhood. AWANA is for kindergarteners through junior high school age children. It focuses first on making sure that children hear the gospel and, secondly, it encourages Bible memorization. Memorization is done much easier as a child and the verses will stick with them throughout their whole lives.  The children are awarded with AWANA dollars for memorizing scriptures. They can then spend these dollars at the AWANA store which is stocked with a variety of candy and toys, much to the delight of the children.  Sports and game time is also a highlight of the evening.

You can help the AWANA program by keeping it in your prayers throughout the year.  Donations of candy and toys no matter how small are always appreciated for the AWANA store.
